Project Overview
As an early--stage informal advisor to the founders of GoFundMe I shared my experiences trying to raise money for film school, working on "honeymoon" donation sites and the emerging crowdsourcing movement - helping them to make the decision to pivot from a charity fundraising platform to defining the niche of personal donations sites. Once launched I helped them create their first paid marketing campaigns, manage their agency relationship and train their first marketing department as a consultant until their exit to investors.
